The art on these 1963 grain silos in Merriwa was painted in 2019 by artist David Periera from a design by Sid Tapia. It features canola, a windmill, slab hats and sheep wearing red socks, as per the annual (June) running of sheep in socks down the town`s main street in the `Festival of the Fleeces`.
