This cute loco engine looks as though it belongs in a sugar-cane farm somewhere up in North Queensland and indeed that is its history. Built by Fowler in Leeds UK in 1927, its employment was at the Racecourse Sugar Mill in Mackay, but was retired in 1965 when diesel took over. Thereafter, having been owned by various collectors, it found its way to Milang in 2021. The bid funnel is designed to stop sparks setting fire to sugar cane.
