This is 1845 sandstone Weidmann Cottage, a typical merchant class townhouse of its time. Weidmann was a Muswellbrook businessman. The building was used as a tourist info centre until a 2024 earthquake caused minor damage, not obvious to us. The earthquake was probably caused by coal mining stress. [5566]
